The Mesmerise team will showcase the launch of a groundbreaking healthcare training solution that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) and immersive technologies within an enterprise-ready platform at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting in Chicago. This initiative is poised to bridge existing labor and skills gaps by reimagining medical education, ensuring a more resilient and ready healthcare workforce, and delivering personalized learning and training at scale.
The training methods used to prepare healthcare professionals have remained unchanged for over a century. However, the present healthcare systems are in a crisis, facing an urgent shortage of radiologists, skilled technicians, and other essential professionals. These shortages underscore the critical need for education solutions that are not only effective but also scalable and accessible.
Radiology is a clear example of this challenge. Professionals in the field must master immense volumes of complex information while operating under high-stakes conditions. As workforce shortages deepen, more than traditional training methods are needed to keep pace with the demands of modern healthcare.
In addition to offering hands-on experiences with humanistic AI avatars who will address medical questions and immersive CT scanner training, Mesmerise is hosting a series of workshops and sessions for RSNA attendees.
